To ensure the safety and integrity of your natural hair, it is highly recommended to schedule a move-up appointment every 6 to 8 weeks. Move-ups should never exceed eight weeks. When extensions are initially installed, they are placed on secure sections of your natural hair that are strong enough to support the weight of the wefts. Over time, your natural hair naturally sheds (approximately 50 to 100 strands per day), causing these sections to weaken and potentially making the extensions too heavy for those areas
As your extensions grow out, approximately an inch of hair will grow above the wefts. If not properly cared for, this new growth can snag, leading to beads loosening or even releasing completely. This may cause your extensions to slip out or detach at the ends
Proper Maintenance
• Use a suitable brush and brush your hair gently to avoid damage
• Avoid conditioner. Detangler, any oil or moisturizing agents at your roots
• Follow the recommended timeline for move-ups based on your hair type:
• Fine Hair: Move-up appointments are advised every 5 to 6 weeks to prevent added stress on your natural hair
• If your extensions tend to loosen around the 6-week mark, it is strongly recommended to book your appointment at 6 weeks to maintain the longevity and security of your wefts
Please note that attempting to push your appointments beyond your recommended timeframe can result in damage to your natural hair and extensions. Additionally, last-minute scheduling requests may not always be accommodated due to limited availability. Consistent bookings every 5 to 6 weeks (for fine hair) or up to 8 weeks (for other hair types) are essential for optimal results
QUICK FIX POLICY
Quick fixes (15 minutes or less) are offered to address minor issues, such as a weft poking out or slipping underneath
• Complimentary Quick Fixes: These are available within the first 7 days of your installation or move-up appointment
• After the 7-day period, quick fixes are subject to a $25 fee
PLEASE NOTE:
If a full row requires adjustment, this will be considered a move-up appointment and charged accordingly
If your quick fix is booked within the first week, the appointment will still display a $25 fee during booking for confirmation purposes. However, this fee will be waived unless you reschedule, cancel or no-show, in which case the cancellation policy will apply.
